In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember being part of my high school marching band. This was my first real experience with a group of musicians who expected a lot out of me. It changed my life. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers, The Best of Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers: The Blue Note Years Gang Starr, Full Clip: A Decade of Gang Starr The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Axis: Bold As Love I got a indescribable feeling the first time I heard each of these recordings. They propelled me to want to play and produce music. I want to give people to feel on top of the world when they hear my music like these artists did for me. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Pay It No Mind” This piece is one of my most uplifting compositions. It gives people a good positive feeling. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I am enjoying performing with my group Jerome Jennings & iLL Philosophy. The future excites me. I love traveling the world, playing music. It is the best! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want a world tour with my group and a grammy (or two)! ;) I'd also like to collaborate with great artists.
