About Jean-Frédéric Neuburger

Pianist Jean-Frédéric Neuburger has a large repertory extending from Bach to composers of the present day. He is also noted as an organist and composer. Neuburger has performed as a soloist with the New York Philharmonic and the NHK Symphony Orchestra, and the Philadelphia Orchestra, among other top-tier groups. His compositions have been performed by the Boston Symphony, Singapore Symphony Orchestra, and the Israel Philharmonic. His Cantate Profane, for mixed choir and 14 musicians, sets poetry by Aimé Césaire. Neuburger has made more than ten recordings. Among them is one of Karlheinz Stockhausen's Mantra, on which he joined pianist Jean-François Heisser and electronic musician Serge Lemouton in 2021. Neuburger has been on the faculty of the Conservatoire de Paris since 2009, teaching courses in accompaniment.
