About Jason "Spicy G" Goldman

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first time I fell in love with jazz was when I was in 6th grade listening to the Tonight Show band, led by Doc Severinsen, that one of my friends showed me on his CD player. The song was Begin the Beguine and it just blew me away. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Frank Sinatra, It Might As Well Be Swing Michael Jackson, Off the Wall Miles Davis, Kind of Blue The Sinatra record is with the Basie band with Quincy Jones leading it, doesn't get more swinging. Mile's album is pure magic when it comes to vibe, feel, improvisation, and music. Off the Wall, You will be hard pressed to find a more groovy album. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Pennies from Heaven (feat. Olivia Morreale)” I love the light airy texture about the arrangement. I really dig the layered vocal harmonies and the shout chorus. Olivia knocked it out of the park. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Producing, arranging, orchestrating, engineering Michael Bublé's album Nobody But Me. The album was Grammy nominated and won a Juno award. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I honestly don't have a bucket list. I just want to produce and write for the best artists and musicians.
