About Jana Kramer

Country singer Jana Kramer first found success as a television actor, primarily for her portrayal of Alex Dupre on the drama One Tree Hill. ∙ Her first two digital singles, 2011’s “I Won’t Give Up” and “Whiskey,” premiered on One Tree Hill and entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart. ∙ Kramer’s self-titled debut LP featured the hit heartbreak ballad “Why Ya Wanna” and became one of the top-selling country albums of 2012. ∙ In 2013, she sang the jingle for a home insurance company’s national ad campaign and appeared in the ads as a leather-clad spy who replaced people’s belongings. ∙ The Academy of Country Music honored Kramer with its Top New Female Artist Award in 2013. ∙ Her sophomore LP, 2015’s Thirty One, was a Top 10 Pop and Country album that featured the nostalgic hit “I Got the Boy.” ∙ On Dancing with the Stars in 2016, she reached the finals and came in fourth place with her partner, Gleb Savchenko.
