About Jameson Rodgers

Country-rock artist Jameson Rodgers moved to Nashville in 2010 and played open-mic nights with fellow up-and-comers Michael Hardy and Hunter Phelps. ∙ He received the 2014 ASCAP Foundation Leon Brettler Award for outstanding songwriter/performer and signed with hitmaking indie publisher Combustion Music. ∙ Country star Luke Combs praised Rodgers’ debut EP in an Instagram post, starting a friendship that led to Rodgers opening some of Combs’ shows in 2019. ∙ Rodgers cowrote Chris Lane’s chart-topping “I Don’t Know About You” and Florida Georgia Line’s Top 10 hit “Talk You Out of It.” ∙ The midtempo ballad “Some Girls,” his 2020 debut single, was a country radio hit and has been streamed more than 80 million times. ∙ Rodgers’ “Cold Beer Calling My Name,” featuring Luke Combs, reached the Top 40 of Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart in 2020. ∙ At the 2020 MusicRow Awards, he won the Robert K. Oermann Discovery Artist of the Year Award, which recognizes Nashville artists with major potential.
