In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 12, my friends called me up and asked if I could play bass in their band because my father played bass in a band. I had never picked up an instrument prior. I hesitantly said yes but was mad because i wanted to play guitar instead. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bon Iver, Bon Iver, Bon Iver (Deluxe Edition) Nils Frahm, Spaces (Special Edition) Radiohead, In Rainbows All three records are my strongest influences and truly changed my perspective on how to make music, along with helping me through some tough times in my life. Tell us why you chose this song. “Dreams of Light” I lived in a tiny house next to a large cathedral while writing this and it encapsulates my experience back then. You can hear the morning church bells at the end that would wake me up. Violin performed by a friend, Leah Ottman who I dearly miss. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening for Johann Johannson and being nominated for an Emmy. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like to continue the creative spark and find new ways to spread my music to new ears.
