In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories includes writing a song called "Enough Of It" in August 2015 when I found myself with a huge crush on a classmate of mine. It was the first time I wrote something that felt real and personal. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beyoncé, RENAISSANCE Michael Jackson, Bad Prince & The Revolution, Purple Rain Soundtrack from the Motion Picture I chose these three albums because each of them made an impact on my life at different times. RENAISSANCE helped me accept myself for who I am. Bad made me fall in love with music. Purple Rain gave me the confidence to create music of my own. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Chameleon” "Chameleon" is such an important song to me and my career. It's an autobiographical song about self-acceptance and the idea of hiding to fit in. Sonically, the song is inspired by the music I heard growing up---funk, soul, jazz and R&B. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career so far was the release of my 2nd album Numb. The support was so strong and it brought me much joy. It was a project I had been working on during the release of Kaleidoscope. I was so happy to release it. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There is plenty left on my artist bucket list and the main one is performing. I get such a kick out of performing live, especially when they are my own songs. I can’t wait to get on the stage.
