Jackson Greenberg

Hollywood film composer Jackson Greenberg gained wide attention for the theme song he composed for the series Explained. Greenberg made his film composition debut on the 2015 documentary Cartel Land, which was nominated for an Academy Award, and his score earned a Cinema Eye Awards nomination for Best Music for a Feature-Length Documentary the following year; the score was also issued as an album. Those accomplishments brought Greenberg more work, and he has written scores for series on several networks. Greenberg also writes music for orchestra and chamber groups outside the realm of film scores, and his works have been performed by the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra, among other groups. In 2023, Greenberg issued an album of his own music, The Things We Pass on Through Our Genes.
