Holiday grew up listening to R&B artists like Marvin Gaye, Boyz II Men, R. Kelly, and Jodeci. He got his first taste of the limelight when he performed at a ninth-grade talent show. • Holiday formed an R&B trio called 295 and moved to Atlanta with the group after high school. Following some brushes with fame that included a meeting with music mogul L.A.
