In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. (Robert): When I was six or seven years old, I heard Sgt. Pepper's for the first time. I did not know that music could be like that; so completely psychedelic & all-enveloping. It radically altered the trajectory of my very existence & awareness. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? The Beatles, Revolver The Zombies, Odessey and Oracle U2, All That You Can't Leave Behind Odessey and Oracle for its unimpeachable beauty. Revolver & All That You Can't Leave Behind because they are flawless career pinnacles that exemplify the continuous growth & change embraced by artists that are never content to rest on their laurels. I think that it reflects the totally unconditional love that we have for our children, & as such, is wholly universal, as well as completely personal. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? (Robert): With both It's OK! & Redd Kross, the pure, simple joy & elation of hearing one of your songs being played on the radio for the first time. Azkena Rock Festival in Spain during my second tenure with Redd Kross was pretty rad & fun, too. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Play all 48 contiguous states & neighboring provinces, & every continent. Continue to grow as artists & produce as many albums as the coming decades allow.
