Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was playing the piano and improvising as a toddler before I could speak, literally. Both of my much older brothers and my Mother were pianists and I learned the musical language of "piano" before learning to communicate with words.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? The Koln Concert / Keith Jarrett George Winston, All the Seasons of George Winston Liz Story, Solid Colors These 3 albums (and Windham Hill artists in general) inspired me to begin composing for solo piano. Liz's "Greensleeves" the version used on the first "A Winter's Solstice" compilation was the catalyst. Steven Miller engineered and made it magical.
