Inocente Carreño

About Inocente Carreño

Carreño studied at the National School of Music and served as professor of theory at the José Angel Lamas School for advanced music studies in Caracas. He also worked as a hornist and choirmaster for the Venezuela Symphony Orchestra, which he also sometimes conducted. His best-known works are the orchestral pieces Suite margariteña (1954) and Sinfonieta satirica (1965). ~ Lynn Vought
