Ima Robot

About Ima Robot

Los Angeles-bred Ima Robot made hooky, punky modern rock out of terribly fashionable musical byproducts. After forming, the group signed with Virgin, and the Public Access EP soon appeared. Ima Robot dropped in 2003; it showcased a more focused, radio/video-ready sound. Tours with like-minded types like Hot Hot Heat helped get the word out, and their second album, Monument for the Masses, was issued in 2006. The following year Ima Robot parted ways with Virgin, and with their newfound independence began working on new material. In 2010 they released their third album, Another Man's Treasure. ~ Johnny Loftus
