In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Performing at a local art and wine festival. I must have been about ten years old and I sang my first song on stage, "Rock And Roll All Nite" by Kiss. I was really nervous but everyone was really nice about it. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bladee, Icedancer Nicki Minaj, The Pinkprint (Deluxe) Robyn, Honey The Pinkprint is a triumph in the rap genre and fills me with confidence every time I press play. Honey inspires me to not hold back when getting personal with my lyrics. Icedancer taught me to take myself less seriously. It makes me feel unbound. Tell us why you chose this song. “All Blades Perish” I made this song with a microphone and a Roland MC 707 in my lap in the garden of my childhood home. My husband and my dog were sunbathing nearby and I was excited for life. This song is a reflection of that. Wanting to dance in the sun and have fun. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Even a few years later, I think it's receiving support from Miley Cyrus when I performed at San Francisco Pride in 2018. Having a major artist endorse me by giving me some of her merch, especially one that I looked up to, was really validating. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to collaborate with Nicki Minaj, my dream collab.
