L.A.-based singer iamnotshane makes dreamy, sensitive, synth-driven pop music often accompanied by dance-heavy music videos. • He posted his first music video in 2014, for the song “Sinister.” • In 2016, Iamnotshane self-released his debut EP, SAD. The single “Insecure” soon went viral thanks to the Michael Jackson–inspired choreography in the self-directed music video. • The singer issued a string of singles leading up to the 2020 release of the iamnotshane EP, inspired by underground dance music in Berlin and Eastern Europe.
