I-Octane

Prolific reggae and dancehall artist I-Octane made a name for himself with his own brand of conscious reggae that drew on Rastafarian teachings and his personal experiences. Combining a mix of roots, dancehall, lovers rock, and hip-hop-inspired reggae, I-Octane's releases often topped the Jamaican charts, while his albums -- including 2012's Crying to the Nation, 2018's Love & Life, and 2022's I Am Great -- found an international audience.
