A Florida-based pop-punk/emo quintet with a slick anthemic sound that recalls the mid-2000s era of forebears like Motion City Soundtrack and Fall Out Boy, Hungover rose to national attention following the 2016 release of their debut EP, WILT. Formed in 2013 out of the ashes of several other Orlando bands, singer Marc Cortes, guitarists Evan Colson and Sean Connors, bassist Austin Barney, and drummer Gabriel Santiago cut their teeth for a few years, gigging the Florida circuit before self-releasing the WILT EP, in 2016. After receiving a groundswell of underground support for the release, Hungover signed with Smartpunk Records, which re-released WILT in 2018 with the addition of three new songs. ~ Timothy Monger
