About Humming House

Crafting lively, harmony-rich acoustic fare that bridges progressive folk and country in the vein of the Avett Brothers, Humming House hail from Nashville, Tennessee. The group formed in 2011 around songwriter Justin Wade Tam (guitar/ukulele/vocals). He was joined by bassist Benjamin Jones and mandolinist Josh Wolak on their debut album, Humming House, released via Humble Mouse Records in 2012. With everyone contributing vocals, they added fiddler/multi-instrumentalist Bobby Chase and percussionist Leslie Rodriguez to the lineup in time for the 2014 live album Humming House Party! Their second studio album, Revelries, followed in 2015 before Rodriguez left the group. The remaining quartet partnered with Soundly Music and Sony RED for 2017's Companion. ~ Marcy Donelson
