A vocalist whose talents extended well beyond the world of music, HRVY has channeled his social-media savvy and on-screen charisma into modern pop stardom. ∙ By posting videos of himself singing pop covers, the teenage HRVY was discovered via social media, and he released his debut single, “Thank You,” in 2013. ∙ In 2014, he became a presenter on the BBC series Friday Download, and he returned to TV in 2020 as a contestant on the reality competition Strictly Come Dancing. ∙ “Personal,” a track off the 2017 EP Talk to Ya, was HRVY’s first major hit, spending seven weeks on the UK singles chart. ∙ He landed on the UK singles chart a second time with 2018’s “Hasta Luego,” a collaboration with Cuban-American singer Malu Trevejo. ∙ HRVY teamed with K-pop outfit NCT DREAM on 2019’s “Don’t Need Your Love,” and in 2020 he joined forces with Dutch EDM titan R3HAB on both “Be Okay” and “Am I the Only One.”
