About Housefires

Worship group Housefires was cofounded in 2014 by Pat Barrett, a leader at Atlanta’s Grace Midtown Church.

∙ “Good Good Father” became their best-known song after Chris Tomlin’s country-influenced cover topped the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart for seven weeks.
∙ Their 2016 album, Housefires III, reached No. 3 on Billboard’s Christian Albums chart and No. 2 on the UK Christian & Gospel Albums chart.
∙ “Good Good Father,” written by Housefires’ Pat Barrett and Tony Brown, won a 2016 Dove Award for Song of the Year.
∙ Pat Barrett scored a chart-topping solo hit in 2019 with the soaring, piano-driven ballad “Build My Life.”
