About Hook N Sling

Aussie agent of feel-good house music Hook N Sling has spent years igniting dance floors with killer remixes and original songs like “Love On Me,” his 2016 team-up with Swedish duo Galantis.

• Hook N Sling started out playing the local Australian bar and club circuit before securing his first label deal with Hussle Recordings.
• He got his stage name from “Hook and Sling,” a beloved 1969 funk tune by Eddie Bo and the Soul Finders.
• In 2007, he received an ARIA Award nomination for Best Dance Release for “The Bump,” his glitchy club collaboration with Kid Kenobi.
• The powerhouse dance music brand Ministry of Sound enlisted Hook N Sling to mix its yearly compilation album, The Annual, in 2011.
• Hook N Sling held European dance floors for ransom in 2011 with “Take You Higher,” his dance remix of Angus & Julia Stone’s 2010 folk tune “Big Jet Plane.”
