Holly Golightly

Holly Golightly is a former member of garage punk revivalists Thee Headcoatees, an all-female splinter group of Thee Headcoats. A prolific songstress, her rollicking, blues-based swagger has graced solo material since 1995’s THE GOOD THINGS. More rooted in early rock & roll, rhythm & blues, and rockabilly than the basic three-chords-and-a-girl-group stylings of Thee Headcoatees, her raspy-voiced originals and covers--ranging from Lee Hazelwood and Ray Davies, to Bill Withers--have been stylistically consistent from release to release. In the late-‘00s, Golightly collaborated with Texas-based musician Lawyer Dave, on two country blues-inspired releases under the name, Holly Golightly & the Brokeoffs.
