In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember being drawn towards the sounds coming from the music room in my school. KK and elder bro Sandeep were seniors and played for the school band. I watched them perform as a kid which sowed the seeds of music in my being. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Euphoria, Palash Sen, Dhoom Joe Satriani, The Essential Joe Satriani Pink Floyd, The Wall 1. I would listen to The Wall at one stretch during my early years and it has an influence on my music and guitar playing even now. 2. Tell us why you chose this song. “Gal Sunn Zara (feat. Sanjeeta Bhattacharya)” Gal Sunn Zara happened when a Punjabi love poem met a lilting waltz melody. The process of creating it has been most satisfying creatively & a lot of heart and soul went into its making. It also got me awards as a music composer & producer at CMA21. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 2000, Euphoria was invited to perform at the Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis. It was a 3 day event, with multiple stages set up along the banks of the Mississippi river. I was performing with 69 artists and bands that I grew up listening. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I wish to continue growing as an artist and be a better musician. I hope my music and songs connect with millions of people across the world and I can perform my original music at a venue like Wembley Stadium one day.
