In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember having the opportunity to perform at Centennial Park in Atlanta for a Gospel music festival. My very first time performing in front of thousands of people, it was so wild to lookout and see people get to hear my sound, it motivated me! Chamillionaire, Ultimate Victory Kanye West, Late Registration Prince & The Revolution, Purple Rain As hard as this question was (because I love so many albums), these 3 specially either don’t receive enough love, or to me describe how different I am when it comes to what speaks to me as an artist, and as a creative, so many more come to mind also. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lions Gate” This song was a special part of not only life with my late grandmother, but this song is a story that talks about my life growing up in the neighborhoods of Memphis, TN. To all those who were kids in the outdoors living their best lives
