About Heretixx

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad got me into music early on. The classics: Steely Dan and The Eagles were always on constant rotation. We always used to sing our favorite song "Brandy" by The Looking Glass on our way to school in the morning. It's still one of my favorites. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Wiz Khalifa, O.N.I.F.C. (Deluxe Version) It's a criminally underrated album and my absolute favorite from one of my top 3 favorite artists of all time. ID Labs had really honed in on Wiz's sound at the time and this album to me is the magnum opus of their long career working together. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Stripes” This is the first song that I did everything on. From writing, rapping, singing, recording, producing, mixing and mastering. It was all me and no one but me at every single step. It's a huge feat to me put out a record that no one else touched. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening for Steve Aoki and Jauz at Life in Color 2015. The crowd came with so much energy even though we were the openers playing at like 2pm on a Friday afternoon, they gave us so much energy and we gave it right back. I'll never forget that day. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Play at Coachella, my hometown festival. I'd love to a do a set at the Do Lab. I've been 3 times in my life. The last time I went, I made a promise to myself that I would never return unless I was on the bill. It's my motivation every day.
