In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a young child, I remember singing songs and dancing around the upright piano in our living room, as my mother would play out of one of her many piano books. I especially loved when she would play songs from old musicals. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “To the Robin” I wrote this song during a 20-minute commute home from work one night. Never before or again has a song come to me so quickly, easily, and fully. It expresses the meaning of a very deep and loving relationship in my life, using ideas from nature.
