Producer and acid house one-hit wonder Paul Walden made his recording debut as Guru Josh in 1989 with a white label 12" of "Infinity" intended to promote a rave of the same name. It became an acid house anthem, and an updated version of the track became a Top Five hit single throughout parts of Western Europe in 1990. Nearly 20 years later, Walden revived the project for the release of "Infinity 2008," a remix that became an even bigger Western European Top Five hit. After releasing Infinity 2012, Guru Josh moved to Ibiza. He died unexpectedly on December 28, 2015. ~ Jason Birchmeier
