In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The village I was born in the end of the 1950s (Münstedt, Germany) became famous in those days because of my uncle Will Brandes. His German adaptation of the hit "Marina" has turned into an evergreen. He rocked me in my cradle. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Gunny Markefka, Arrow Songs Queen, A Night at the Opera Deluxe Edition Sting, The Dream of the Blue Turtles Remastered Queen because of their synthesis of music genres and styles, which has influenced my own “Powerpoets” musical to come, putting classical poetry into rock songs. Tell us why you chose this song. “Sonnet 18” “Sonnet 18” from my "Arrow Songs" album; it was the first classical poem by William Shakespeare I put to music. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I had been busy with my "day job" in the telco world from 2000 to 2021, which allowed very little time for making music. The opportunity to release my “Arrow Songs” album in 2021 was a stellar moment for me. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The one thing that stands out of my mind as a creator is the favorite musical of mine called "Powerpoets". I do hope that the world premiere will be made real in the upcoming years: Can YOU help me?
