In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Playing a Classical Guitar piece on stage in front of the whole school at age 9. I remember being very nervous at the time. Thankfully it all went well and my guitar teacher was pleased! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Joe Satriani, Surfing with the Alien Remastered Pink Floyd, The Wall The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Are You Experienced Deluxe Version Hendrix was a real eye opener for me. Jimi managed to get those crazy sounds out of a guitar. Joe Satriani mind blowing stuff in the 80's and 90's influenced a lot of what I do today. David Gilmour - Say no more! Tell us why you chose this song. “Trees” I cover a lot of different genras with this track. It is all guitar. I use synth pads generated from my guitar. Then go into echoed reverbed Floyd type riffs, before firing off into more modern shred Satriani styel lead riffs, then back to calm!
