Gorky's Zygotic Mynci

About Gorky's Zygotic Mynci

Along with Super Furry Animals, Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci was one of the leading lights of the thriving Welsh indie-rock scene during 1990s. Ambling down a quirky, neo-psychedelic path, the band, led by frontman Euros Childs, playfully took their cues from predecessors such as Robert Wyatt and Kevin Ayers, garnering the band accolades, if not runaway success. In 2006, the group disbanded, with most members, including Childs, moving on to solo projects.
