About Ghost

Credited as their masked personas, Ghost is a Swedish hard rock band known for their onstage theatrical presence.

∙ Their 2013 LP, Infestissumam, debuted at No. 1 in Sweden and earned the band their first Swedish Grammis Award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Album.
Meliora, the act’s 2015 LP, reached No. 8 on the Billboard 200 and was their first album to receive Platinum certification in Sweden.
∙ Making their US TV debut, they performed “Cirice” on a Halloween-themed episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in 2015.
∙ The band has been nominated for three Grammy Awards, winning their first in 2016 for Best Metal Performance (“Cirice”).
∙ Ghost’s 2018 hit singles “Rats” and “Dance Macabre” both reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Songs chart.
∙ Peaking at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, 2018’s Prequelle debuted in the Top 5 in seven countries, including Sweden, Finland, and Norway, where it reached No. 1.
∙ In 2019, Kerrang! ranked Ghost’s 2010 single “Ritual” among the 50 Most Evil Songs Ever.
∙ The Swedish government awarded the group the 2019 Music Export Prize in honor of their global success.
