About Gera MX
Paying homage to the boom-bap roots of his influences, Mexican rapper Gera MX forged a successful career through the 2010s and 2020s, building a dominant domestic career and making history with Christian Nodal collaboration "Botella Tras Botella." As part of the Mexamafia collective, Gera MXM built a domestic profile with albums like Precipicio (2013), No Veo No Siento (2014), and No Me Mates Antes de Hoy (2015), before leaving the collective in 2017 due to a series of disputes. Rebranding to Gera MX in the late 2010s, the rapper released his most successful album to date, El Vicio y La Fama (2019), founded his own label, Rich Vagos, and made inroads into different styles of rap. In 2021, he made history with the Christian Nodal collaboration "Botella Tras Botella," which became the first regional Mexican single to ever debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
