Gentleman Reg

A fixture in Ontario, Canada’s thriving indie-rock scene, pale troubadour Gentleman Reg (aka Reg Vermue) has released a number of solo albums, most notably LITTLE BUILDINGS, his 2008 outing on the Arts & Crafts label. Not surprisingly, Reg is a close associate of many A&C artists, having been a member of the Hidden Cameras and performed with Broken Social Scene and other related acts. Often recalling an edgier, more subdued Sufjan Stevens (yet another musician that he’s played with), Reg has also ventured into the acting realm (the ’06 film SHORTBUS), and has had many of his songs featured on movie and TV soundtracks.
