In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I got my first guitar as a teenager, I was instantly hooked. Every week brought new challenges and discoveries, and I’d lose track of time in that world. Funny enough, not much has changed since. Tell us why you chose this song. “O Galo” Inspired by the wild energy of Frevo and the spirit of Carnaval in my hometown Recife, O Galo is full of twists and turns. It’s a first glimpse into my debut album—I hope you enjoy it as much as I loved creating it.
