About Funeral for a Friend

Just months after forming, Welsh post-hardcore band Funeral for a Friend signed to Swansea-based independent label Mighty Atom Records, and released their debut EP, Between Order and Model, in August 2002. A second EP followed in April 2003 amid a storm of media hype, a rumble that came to a crescendo with the November 2003 release of Casually Dressed & Deep in Conversation. Funeral for a Friend subsequently signed to Atlantic Records, and in June 2005 released their second studio album, Hours. The record demonstrated a more mature sound, with a significant shift toward more melodic songs. Tales Don't Tell Themselves arrived in 2007, followed by Memory and Humanity in 2008. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
