Frozen Crown is a power metal band from Milan, Italy. Their sound weds inflections from classic, symphonic, folk, and death metal into catchy, crafty, often-dramatic big beat anthems. They are led by guitarist, principal songwriter, and backing vocalist Federico Mondelli, with his co-writing wife, Giada "Jade" Etro, on lead vocals. Their current lineup is filled out with guitarist Fabiola "Sheena" Bellomo, bassist Francesco Zof, and drummer Niso Tomasini. The original group's debut long-player, The Fallen King, arrived to massive critical acclaim in 2017 followed by 2019's globally acclaimed Crowned in Frost. Winterbane, the band's third album -- and their first with the lineup mentioned above -- arrived in April 2021.
