French Police

Since the COVID-19 pandemic subsided enough for live music to come back, the trio French Police have been a bright light from the Chicago scene, enticing listeners with their moody but accessible post-punk style. Though the name is slightly confusing -- the members of French Police are Mexican-American, and often write and perform in Spanish -- audiences have flocked to propulsive tracks like "Vampiro," "Club de Vampiros," "HUNNY," "Hidalgo," and "Je Te Veux."
