In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Back in 1999, Craig took me, Clara, to a music store in Ojai to buy a Fender Bronco. We’ve been playing music together ever since. We're now playing dub, reggae that has our original spirit-rock roots. I’m still playing that Fender Bronco. Love it! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Lee "Scratch" Perry, The Upsetters, Lee 'Scratch' Perry & The Upsetters: Super Ape & Return of the Super Ape The English Beat, I Just Can’t Stop It (2012 Remaster) The Specials, The Specials (Remastered) The English Beat have their own unique sound. The Upsetters is essential and inspirational as well as an influence. The grooves are heavy! For The Specials, this album blends rock and punk along with ska. They gave a voice to generations of people. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We remember the time when Ranking Roger messaged us on MySpace saying Sasquatch In China Camp was dubwise and got to chat with him. We miss him and are so grateful to connect with one of our musical heroes.
