Forest Blakk is an alternative singer-songwriter and poet. ∙ Fronting the band Makeshift Innocence until 2015, Blakk and the group earned a Canadian JUNO Award nomination for Reggae Recording of the Year with their single “Yours To Keep” in 2013. ∙ The music video for his solo breakout, “Love Me,” won Best Music Video at the Berlin Flash Film Festival in 2017, while the single entered the Top 30 on Billboard’s Canada AC chart in 2018. ∙ Making his US Billboard debut, Blakk reached the Emerging Artists chart in 2021 following the success of his hit single “If You Love Her.”
