Liz Phair, Exile In Guyville 2018 Remaster Mitski, Bury Me At Makeout Creek These albums (along with about a million others) either made me want to write music or changed the way I understood my relationship to songwriting. They're all wildly different in terms of genre, and I love them so, so much. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Regret” This is the last song I finished writing for the album - couldn't figure out that bridge. Started writing it on a long walk after a really bad breakup, on this empty highway overpass near where I used to live. It holds a special place in my heart.
