About FLETCHER
Singer-songwriter Fletcher dives into turbulent emotions on cutting-edge pop songs packed with bracing lyrics. • She was a 17-year-old high school senior when she appeared on the premiere season of the American version of The X Factor, where she was part of a quartet of women coached by Paula Abdul. • Fletcher wrote her debut single, “War Paint,” while studying at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU. When she released the song in 2015, it became a viral hit that quickly surpassed twenty million streams. • Her 2019 EP you ruined new york city for me included the single “Undrunk,” an autobiographical song about a messy breakup. • In 2020, Fletcher teamed with Niall Horan on a cover of Taylor Swift’s “Lover.” Fletcher had been set to open for Horan in concert before the COVID-19 pandemic derailed their tour plans.
