In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first concert was Weird Al Yankovic at Newcastle Civic Theatre. NOFX, Punk in Drublic Parkway Drive, Horizons (Deluxe Edition) Rise Against, Appeal to Reason We picked these albums because they each lit a fire at different times. Punk In Drublic made punk fun, Appeal to Reason showed its heart, and Horizons proved heavy music from Australia could take on the world. It’s bass-led, dancey, and silly little guy energy all the way through. The backup vocals copy the solo just because we thought it sounded funny, and it turned into one of our most fun tracks to play.
