Fishsticks

The Fishsticks have never put up a front that they could actually play their instruments properly. All that really mattered was to play as fast as possible on the cheapest equipment available. With their usual shows clocking in at under 15 minutes, the Hermosa Beach, CA-based four-piece has been wailing out their noise of obnoxious thrash punk since 1995. Despite their constant lineup changes (which have included members from Pennywise, Hostile Takeover, and Prop 13 among others), the Fishsticks have managed to release a handful of EP, comp tracks, and splits before Theologian Records compiled their discography on the Disko CD in 1999. ~ Mike DaRonco
