Fiction Family is the side project duo of Jon Foreman, lead singer of the alternative hard rock band Switchfoot, and Sean Watkins, of the progressive bluegrass act Nickel Creek. Although the longtime friends first began recording together in 2005, the duo's self-titled debut album was not released until 2009 by ATO Records.
