About Ferras

Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Ferras Alquasi began playing the keyboard at age five after his parents divorced. Focusing his creative energy on music throughout childhood, Ferras turned down an offer to sign with Fred Durst's label in his teens, opting instead to enroll at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. While there, Durst facilitated an audition with Capitol Records, which led to a recording deal. Ferras' debut album, Aliens & Rainbows, dropped in 2008. Turning his attention to songwriting, he wrote for artists like Adam Lambert, Ricky Martin, and Katy Perry, who made him the first signee to her Metamorphosis Music imprint. The label released a self-titled EP in 2014, with Ferras continuing to balance careers as a recording artist and songwriter for hire. ~ Matt Collar & Marcy Donelson
