Evan Hines

American collaborative pianist Evan Hines is the co-founder of A Seat at the Piano, an organization promoting diversity in keyboard repertory. He released his debut album in 2023. After receiving his master's in collaborative piano, Hines toured with Trio Continuum, which appeared as far afield as Mexico. He also appeared at the Kent/Blossom Chamber Music Festival in northeast Ohio, where he worked with Cleveland Orchestra pianist Joela Jones. In 2020, Hines co-founded A Seat at the Piano, often abbreviated ASAP, with pianists Brendan Jacklin, Annie Jeng, and Clare Longendyke. Hines released his debut album in 2023, backing Oberlin faculty flutist Alexa Still on the album Wish: Music of Valerie Coleman.
