In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I used to be in a steel drum class in middle school. We were learning "Free Bird" on the steel drums and my teacher asked if anyone would like to accompany on guitar. I didn't play at the time so I had to learn how to before she realized I couldn't. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brad Paisley, Mud On the Tires Don Williams, The Definitive Collection: Don Williams James Taylor, James Taylor: Greatest Hits These three records have been constants in my life. They have shaped me as a musician and taught me everything I know and love about music. I doubt I would have even picked up a guitar if it wasn't for these three artists. Tell us why you chose this song. “A Dog's Best Friend” This song has been special to me since the day we wrote it over two years ago. I wrote it with two of my close friends which made it even more special. It went viral on social media and the outpouring of love for this song has been so humbling. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting to hear a song I wrote being played at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville has been one of the greatest highlights and dreams come true. Cole Goodwin recorded a song I co-wrote called "Howdy." Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Most definitely. The first thing that comes to mind is to play the Grand Ole Opry and the Ryman Auditorium.
