About Eric Bibb

Roots singer/songwriter and guitarist Eric Bibb was, alongside Corey Harris and Keb' Mo', at the forefront of the 1990s country-blues revival. The son of folk revivalist Leon Bibb, Eric began recording in the early '70s, and released a series of albums on the Opus 3 label. He relocated to Sweden in the '80s. Bibb released the excellent Me to You in 1997. He immigrated to England, and in 2002, joined forces with his father on the duet album A Family Affair. Bibb continued to record prolifically into the 21st century, and released high-charting albums such as 2008's Get On Board and 2010's Booker's Guitar. In 2017, he issued the acclaimed Migration Blues and in 2021 looked back on his homeland with Dear America.
