In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first musical memory is from when I was still an infant. My grandpa was holding me and I was looking up at him and "Tennessee Waltz", by Patti Page, was playing on the phonograph. To this day day, that is one of my all-time favorite songs. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Lucinda Williams, Car Wheels On a Gravel Road Nikki Lane, Highway Queen Ramones, Rocket to Russia I am a song writer, first and foremost. To me, a full album has to be filled with great songs, start to finish... no fillers. These three albums represent song writing and recording at its finest; one great song after another, from start to finish. Tell us why you chose this song. “Take Me Back to Texas” I wrote this as a sentimental love song to some of my fondest memories as a young man... living in Austin, TX in the 90's. Austin, and its music scene, was electric in the 90's! And I am very proud of the layered composition on this recording.
