Eef Barzelay

About Eef Barzelay

Nashville-based Eef Barzelay is the frontman for Clem Snide, an alt-country/indie band that issued a handful of records in the '90s and 2000s, as well as provided the theme music for the television show Ed. Barzelay formed the band in 1991 and briefly disbanded it in 1994. Clem Snide regrouped a few years later and released their first album in 1998. The band signed on with major label Sire for their second record, but was quickly dropped before finding a home with spinART. In 2006, Barzelay put out Bitter Honey, a solo album of sparse folk featuring Barzelay's voice and acoustic guitar. ~ Kenyon Hopkin
